MANILA, Philippines – Is international singing sensation Charice filming her next Hollywood movie?
According to a website, the 18-year-old rising superstar is currently filming an action-comedy film titled “Here Comes The Boom” that also stars Salma Hayek, Kevin James, Henry Winkler, Joe Rogan, Germaine De Leon and Shelly Desai.
Charice's mother, Raquel Pempengco, sent a web link to abs-cbnNEWS.com on Tuesday detailing the “Pyramid” singer’s purported next movie project.
"The movie is about a school about to lose the music department, so the school music teacher (played by Kevin James) 'goes to cage fighting for prize money to keep the music program,'” the blog entry read.

Charice who plays Sunshine Corazon find herself engaging in a vocal challenge against Lea Michele (Rachel Berry)inside the ladies room. Charice looks nerdy and is singing with her IPod, then Rachel sings with her and the challenge begins.

Charice will play Sunshine Corazon, a foreign exchange student whose killer vocals get Rachel (Lea Michele) contemplating murder in the upcoming season.

The 18-year-old singer, who looked stunning in her black dress, is playing Sunshine Corazon, a Filipino exchange student at fictional William McKinley High School “whose killer vocals get Rachel (Berry) contemplating murder.”
The “Pyramid” singer admitted that she can relate to her character, saying that they are both “simple” and “shy.”
The youtube sensation Charice will be joining the cast of “Glee” in the second season and she will appear in the first episode titled "Audition". Her character will be named Sunshine Corazon, as a foreign exchange student.
Season 2 will showing some new faces including John Stamos, Dot Jones, Carol Burnett and chord Overstreet. It will also feature the Britney Spears to one of its episode.
