Sanchez welcomes judges' criticism

Filipino-Mexican-American contestant Jessica Sanchez may have missed a beat on "American Idol" this week but the 16-year-old said she still welcomed the negative feedback from the judges.

Asked to sing songs from the year they were born, Sanchez picked Gloria Estefan's "Turn the Beat Around" and failed to impress the judges, as well as the TV critics.

Both Randy Jackson and Steven Typer advised Sanchez to pick her songs more carefully.

I don’t think you should stray too far on that [ballads]," Tyler said. "The rhythm that you sang with the song was just a little shady but again I love you voice and they do, too."

Toscano is unexpected 'American Idol' elimination

Source: Reuters,

NEW YORK – Pia Toscano was sent packing from "American Idol" on Thursday in an elimination that drew booing from the audience and visibly angered the judges.

Toscano's surprising elimination after the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame-themed week mentored by will.i.am left eight finalists fighting it out to win season 10 of the hit TV talent show.

A clearly upset judge Jennifer Lopez buried her face in her hands and said "I have no idea what just happened here. I'm shocked. I'm angry."

Veteran judge Randy Jackson echoed her words, saying "This makes me mad". He told Toscano, who switched from her usual ballads to an up-tempo performance this week, "You're one of the best singers in here."

David Cook: The New American Idol

We all know that David will win the American Idol but not David Cook as we expected...

The rocker from Missouri and a former bartender was hailed as the new American Idol of Season 7. As Ryan Seacrest said that 97.5 million votes were cast and approximately 55 million voted David Cook, clearly it is not a close fight.

In the last day of performance, the boy from Utah, David Archuleta were expected to win as Simon Cowell said. But David Cook got more sympathy in that night, and the American viewers also believed (I also believed), in their last performances Cook done well and enough to catch the viewers vote and win the prestigious title.

And to all Archuleta's fan, it's not the end of the road to your boy, it is just a start for new bright future for him....

The season is ended and the tour of the Season Seven Top 10 Idols begin. So wait your favorite idol in your town....
