22-year-old Miss Indiana Katie Swam crowned Miss America in Las Vegas, Nevada last Saturday night. The University of Indianapolis student became the first Miss America winner from the Hoosier State. During the coronation night Katie is suffering throat infection and laryngitis.

"Twilight" Sequel Added Vanessa Hudgens?  


From singing to howling...

The "High School Musical" star Vanessa Hudgens is being considered for a role as Leah Clearwater in the "Twilight" sequel, "New Moon,".

Vanessa has auditioned for the role of Leah Clearwater, the series' lone female werewolf, and is "up for the role," a source close to Summit Entertainment confirmed.

However, "no official casting announcement has been made," the source added.
