Disney Channel movie, Camp Rock, which featured several musical performances by the teen band, including the Jonas Brothers, got 8.9 million viewers last Friday night, making it the most-watched cable program this year.
The movie is a Cinderella-like tale where Kevin, 20, Joe, 18 and Nick, 15, star as teen pop stars sent to a prestigious rock camp. Actress/singer Demi Lovato, 15, co-stars as the poor-girl-with-a-booming-voice whom Joe flips over.
Though it didn't match last year's record-setting "High School Musical 2." But still it was big hit.
